In recent versions of macOS, an “invalidfont” error may occur when printing documents that contain certain fonts.
This issue can often be resolved by printing the PDF through Adobe Acrobat or Adobe Acrobat Reader.

Because the PDF format was developed by Adobe, Acrobat and Acrobat Reader generally provide better compatibility when printing PDFs that contain certain fonts or other PDF elements.
